Voice Practice

The exam is a conversation, so practise it as one. Paste the examiner below into a voice chat and it will question you about all four pieces — out loud, in English.

One topic, a mock exam, or a trap drillFeedback after every answerBuilt from the Answer Cards

1How to use it

  1. Open a new conversation in a voice-capable AI chat (for example ChatGPT in voice mode).
  2. Press Copy the examiner below, paste it as your first message and send it.
  3. Choose a mode when it asks: one topic (you pick a piece and a question), a mock exam (eight topics, about 20 minutes) or a trap drill (the questions where people most often say something wrong).
  4. Answer out loud in full sentences, two to three minutes each. After each answer it tells you what was good, what you missed and one follow-up question.
  5. Afterwards, open the Answer Cards for the topics you struggled with, and try again.
Good to know

The examiner uses only the facts in the Answer Cards, so it can say "I can't verify that" instead of guessing. It cannot see your score and it never gives a grade: it has not heard you play. If it ever says something that disagrees with your score or your teacher, trust the score and your teacher.

2The examiner

This is the full text to paste. You do not need to read it — and if you do, remember it is the examiner's notes, so reading the answers first spoils the practice.
